Wed, 15 April 2009 (direct download here) Once again, on the road to Southern California with Eric and his huge exploding nuts. We took the scenic route: Lake Tahoe, Mono Lake, InyoKern CinderCones...basically Hwy 395 South on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We get caught in a blizzard overnight at Mammoth Lakes, at a hotel with plugged/slow drains in every room. We talk about Lutefisk, attempt to visit a HotSprings, and discuss Erics Nuts. Why, there's even a little music in this episode: "Manic Depressive" by Sykotik Sinfoney. (note: this trip was seperate from the RoadTrip we took in February) If you would like to leave voicemail, feel free to call 1-425-906-5563. If I'm online, theres a chance I might pickup and you can chat with me LIVE & maybe record some audio for the podcast! UPDATE 16 APR Links to Mark Twain's Mono Lake Adventures from his book "Roughing It" Chapter XXXVIII Chapter XXXIX Comments[1] |

Thu, 29 January 2009 SD140:Am I The Right Hand of Satan, or Good Samaritan? direct guilt Today I took a nice hot shower, and got a nice haircut. I doubt that I deserve such things. I met a guy while washing my work uniforms. He needed more than me. I did my best to help him, but at the end of the day I felt guilty. I started my day feeling guilty, ended my day feeling the same. I needed the help from a friend to sort through these feelings. Thank you Matt! Comments[3] |
